The Pulse Asia survey, on Friday, April 20, released the result of senatorial poll, more than a year before the midterm elections. According to the survey conducted from March 23 to 28, 57 percent of the 1,200 adult respondents have chosen their candidates for the May 2019 senatorial elections.
Senator Grace Poe leads the list with a statistical ranking of solo first place. (70.8 percent) Second and third places were Senator Cynthia Villar (55.6 percent) and Taguig City Representative Pia Cayetano (53.8 percent). Senator Nancy Binay was in fourth to sixth places (45.8 percent) while Senator Edgardo Angara, Jr. (44.9 percent) and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio (43.8 percent) share fourth to seventh places.
