Duterte wants a list of companies engaged in labor-only contracting

President Rodrigo Duterte signed an order instructing Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III to submit in 30 days the list of companies which are engaged and/or suspected to be engaged in labor-only contracting.

Along with the inventory, DOLE must also submit a “comprehensive report” on its implementation of its Department Orders No 174 and 183, both of which deal with implementing rules for the enforcement of the Labor Code.
